Emerging Site Plan
This indicative site plan shows how we could achieve commercial development on this site and retain a significant amount of natural green space along the river valley.
We are looking to keep existing green infrastructure (particularly hedges and trees), and provide landscape buffers and new woodland planting to screen the development.
Please note that this is not a planning application proposal at this stage.
This plan also shows how a much smaller area of the site will be promoted for development, and that any proposed buildings would be smaller in scale and height when compared with the previous proposals. This indicative plan shows buildings ranging from approx 1,000 sq ft to the largest single unit of 60,000 sq ft.
To compare, the previous Bredbury Gateway proposals were seeking 93,000 sq m of floorspace, whereas this emerging site plan shows circa 44,000 sq m of floorspace. This is less than half the size.
